Aloha,
Here’s a little glimpse into the many layers of art and resin pours that go into creating one of my pieces.
“Weke Ula” is inspired by the Hawaiian goatfish I visit during my evening swims here on Kauaʻi a special connection that brings this work to life.
This piece measures 30” x 30” and is created with 22k genuine gold, acrylic paint, and cotton Bristol, finished in a beautiful koa wood frame. Once complete, it weighs about 48 lbs.
